I knew I needed A Goal PlanneR
After I got the idea to write my book, You Have A Sibling In Heaven, in late 2019, I knew I needed to get a planner to keep me on track. I didn’t necessarily want a daily planner, and I didn’t want to have to piece it together myself like I had done in the past.
I had known about PowerSheets from Cultivate What Matters for a few years, but never actually purchased any for myself. Partly because I had tried to start my own stationery company before I had kids! It was mainly printables you could buy online and put into an Arc binder (the kind where the pages just snap in), but I did sell a few physical weekly desk pads in my mom’s fabric store. I shut it down after having kids, because I found it really wasn’t what I wanted to pour my heart into, it was just something fun on the side because I had the time.
I Started Using PowerSheets In 2020
I ordered my first set of PowerSheets at the end of 2019 to use for 2020, so that I could keep track of some of my goals as well as the progress on my book. I actually thought I was going to launch it that year – funny to think now!
PowerSheets has helped me stay on track with both my professional and personal goals, like starting my website and blog, getting projects done around the house (anything from organizing the hall cabinets to trim in the guest bathroom to planting flowers), and it has even helped create habits I wanted to have, like reading my Bible and praying more.
A Great Tool To Help Me Reach My Goals!
A tool is only as good as if you use it, and this one has definitely been something I’ve absolutely used and loved the past few years – and keep coming back for more. They have introduced so many new things this year because they are celebrating their 10th year (congrats to them)! I just ordered my 3rd set for 2022: Natural Linen (which I am really excited about because they’ve never offered a neutral cover before!), and the snap-in wildcard holder (also new).
Cultivate is made up of a small team of ladies, helping so many get their goals done each year. Go check them out, cultivatewhatmatters.com. Here’s a preview of my set this year, including the 10 year anniversary box cover that was also new:
